As a whole, the South African stadiums look waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the ones proposed for our bid, and we had the added advantage of an artist to make them look better than they actually would in reality :(

I am not sure how any self respecting football fan could vote for Durban as it has been built to accommodate an athletics track so the internal of the place is cavernous and it looks it.
As for the aesthetics, symmetry went out decades ago. It looks like a cup cake with the cherry pulled out of the top. If I were assessing it at a student crit session I would give the facade a fail. Very boring.
The calabash of Soccer City is my favourite. It is built around the dimensions of a football field as all football grounds should be and the facade is simply magnificent.
I also like Nelspruit.

 It actually does. I did not have room for Ellis Park so I assumed Soccer City might spark more debate.
