Well said Low. Spain are the masters.

Well done with getting some fantastic results with such a young inexperienced team. Lets now ensure we go out of the tournament with a win.

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Gracious Low Salutes 'Wonderful' Spain?
SPAIN were described as the masters of football after reaching the first World Cup final in their history with a 1-0 victory against Germany.

Have your say.

Headline says it all...

Its a bloody hard game to play if you can't get the ball! Spain were just a different class in that respect and their pressing game was also a very, very high standard...

Thats what the game should be about. Being gratious in defeat seems to be a lost cause in football at times.

All needs to be put in reality sometimes.

Germany certainly over-achieved, all credit to Jogi and the team.

I don't think they did tbh.

You can always bank on them making the Quarters at least. After all they have made 16quarter finals in the last 17 World Cups they've played in.

I think it was just the way they dismantled England and Argentina that surprised people.

Great to see two worthy teams battling it out without the dramatics. I wondered if Spain would be able to play their game against the energetic German side, shame on me for doubting their mastery.

Hard to call Germany a suprise packet at the World Cup. Not saying I was suprised on how far they went but on how they went about it. Played some of the best football at thte tournament. Not typical of the Germans. Hopefully they continue this new style.

Well done Germany.

(This wont change that I still hate the Germans though like most people lol)

I think they certainly over-achieved - they came through a tough group and by far the hardest side of the draw playing attacking, free-flowing football and without really breaking a sweat. All things you wouldn't normally expect from a German team.

Yeah, you wouldn't normally expect that from the German's, BUT I definitely expected them to be in the semi's... So, I don't think they over achieved per se. Over entertained maybe?!

This. It's not surprising they made the semis it's the way they played. Then again after how they played in 2006(much more attacking) it's not a big surprise. Like I said what was the surprise was how easily they seemed to dismantle England and Argentina with their Youngest WC squad since 1934
