Guys, what are the average crowds at the NSWPL clubs this year.

I know that Sydney Olympic's average crowd was 1734 this year

You'd have to go through the NSWPL website and look through every individual game. Even then it's not easy because a lot of the games only have an approx crowd and in Marconi's case I;m pretty sure no crowd was listed for every home game they played.

Marconi got about 300 consistently.

Marconi has 30,000 social members in there club and they get 300 people that is strange

It's been the same for years.

even in the NSL they only used to get around the 5,000 - 6,000 mark crowd wise, but always had one of the biggest budgets.

Great to have poker machines isnt it

the eastern side of the stadium was always closed, as was the north.. and the rest of it was lucky to be anywhere close to a quarter full.

Maybe it could have been towards 500... but yeh definitely not much.

How do you know this? I'd be very surprised if this is the official figure. It sounds more like the figures the 'Ultras' would like people to believe...

Please don't group all of us together.

Some state league clubs nationwide still get decent crowds (1000+). It is not unheard of.

And Olympic proudly belongs in this group :D

only bonnyrigg and rockdale have decent crowds all other clubs need to pick up there act big time.

Like come on sutherland and manly have the shire areas of both teams with no other competition and they get 3-500 people are you joking now?

Heart_fan - I agree mate, I played in the NSW Premier League for the past 10 years, so I know it is possible, but Olympic's crowd was NOWHERE near the best... Things MAY HAVE changed, but I'm pretty sceptical.

In the 2009 season we did not make the Top 5 again, yet we still had the highest crowd average

without a doubt, Olympic had a bigger average crowd this season then last season, and we did even worse on the pitch!

Don't worry Hank, we've gone through this with Solympic before. None of them have the balls to back up their claims of multi-thousand crowds.

For what it's worth, Wikipedia said the average was 700.

we all know, some olympic fans bump up there crowd figures on this forum, so whatever figure is thrown out by them divide it by 2.

though it must be said they do have a better crowd average this season then last, so the only way is up, good on them in that respect...

That is way off the mark.Bonnyrigg white eagles had the biggest crowds in the nsw premier leage which on average was like 800.Sydney olympic had a average of about 400.
If you go on the match reports its got the crowd figures for nearly all sydney olympic games.

For some games, FNSW defiantly got the crowd wrong. i.e Olympic v Rockdale and BWE
