Thirteen and oh. Yeah baby. Starting to think 16-0 is possible. But 19-0 is a whole other story. I'd rather have a loss now and win the SB than do a NE and go in the SB undefeated and lose.

What a game between Dallas and the Giants. Thought they were down and out, but NY somehow coming back.
Deja vu for Dallas as well with field goal at the end.

Hmmm i think the 7-6 TN Shakers getting up over the 9-4 Afroman FC is a bit of an upset ;)

So the only team that can probably knock us off is Stafford's Lions. But that said, Lions will have secured a wildcard spot by then and have nothing to play for, so they won't risk a number of players not having a week off. Embarrassing results for Bucs and Niners. I can't believe that the Cowboys iced their kicker for the second week in a row.

It wasn't them this week, it was Tom Coughlin or whatever his name is. He deliberately waited till just before the snap.
Grnkowski notched up TD number 15 for the year on Sunday. Second year in and he's already amongst the elite tight ends.

Jaguars need a better QB. Gabbert is not up to it.

Was just about to post that. Things could get really messy here for them. Falcons looking good.

 Shaker. Falcons will be there or there abouts in the playoffs. Good to see them put a team to the sword and score a few points on them

Falcons will make that WC spot behind the Saints. The only team that could have potentially taken it off them - the bears - are no longer in the picture.
Gabbert is hopeless. Wouldn't surprise me to see them go for Griffin in the draft.
This week I'm picking Dallas, Miami, Seahawks, Texans, Titans, Packers, Saints, Giants, Bengals, Lions, Cardinals, Patriots (fuck Tebow Time), Jets, Chargers (who are 20-1 in December in the last five years), Niners.

ESPN had a really good piece on him, his development and Ex-Broncos coach McDaniels.

Well, that sucks. I knew they'd take the foot off the gas once the top seed was locked up, intentionally or not. Time to focus on the playoffs.

Romeo should get that Chiefs job. Good defensive coordinator.
Tebows winning streak ended by the Patriots. Hallelujah. Brady ripped up against a quality defense. Great effort by the other receivers after Gronk was well covered. Even Ocho caught a TD
San Diego looking to capitalize on Denver and Oakland's slip ups. Have picked Flacco twice, and are up by 24 going into the final quarter.

Quote:I knew they'd take the foot off the gas once the top seed was locked up, intentionally or not. Time to focus on the playoffs. We didn't really take our foot off the gas, we played a few experimental plays, but Finley had a serious case of the dropsies and it was the worst game Rodgers has played in a long, long time. It doesn't help that Jennings is out and our threat in 2-wide formations is limited to Driver/Nelson. At the end of the day it was a shitty performance.

Missed out on the "Championship" Playoffs on points scored :/ I should win the consolation playoffs. Had i got lucky and scraped into the higher playoffs, i would have knocked off NY Sack Exchange, got 143.66 last weekend.

Unlucky mate. Would have been you and I in the final. Beat Afro comfortably. Lucky Rodgers and the gang didn't turn up. Definitely thought I'd lose because they were playing the Chiefs

You got lucky that the Steelers played like arse too. Normally 113 points would be good for a result...and you score fucking 150. Fuck Marshawn Lynch.

That guy is brutal. I'd say one of the best halfbacks in the competition, goes unnoticed though due to playing in Seattle.
Interesting couple of weeks ahead. Bengals, Jets, Titans, Raiders, Chargers and even Chiefs still in the hunt for the second wildcard spot...although the AFC West is far from decided, Denver just a game ahead of the Raiders and Chargers. NFC East is still far from decided as well, gonna comedown to the final game between Dallas and the Giants. The NFC wildcards are pretty much sown up, but Seattle, Arizona, Chicago and the loser of Giants/Cowboys could mathematically make it.
Rodgers is far and away MVP. Brees is runner-up, with Brady third. Although mind you, Peyton Manning could be a candidate for most valuable player, despite not playing a down all year :P

Quote:That guy is brutal. I'd say one of the best halfbacks in the competition, goes unnoticed though due to playing in Seattle. He was the only reason that they scraped into the play-offs last season. Drew Brees is fast closing the gap for MVP. Another week like last week and it's a two-horse race. Chiefs are out of Wildcard contention and it would take a miracle for the Chargers to make it. It's between the Jets and the Bengals as to who'll go through. Remember you need a two-game turnaround with 2 weeks to go. Bengals are at home against the Cardinals (who themselves are playing for NFC Wildcard) and Ravens. Chargers face trips to Detroit and Oakland...and are 21-1 in December over a 5 year period. The Jets host the giants and then travel to a resurgent Miami. Oakalnd travel to Kansas and host the Chargers. It's not even worth worrying about the Titans record because they're unable to even beat the Colts... My money would be on the Bengals and Chargers. Meanwhile in the NFC Detroit and the Falcons have pretty much cemented the wildcard spots - short of complete capitulation and a miracle in Arizona or New York/Dallas. Though should that happen the Cardinals and Seahawks could find themselves playing off for a wildcard berth should they both win this week against the Bengals and Niners respectively, which I can't see happening. The Giants should be good for the top of NFC East as long as they can get the win this week against the Jets, though it could go down to the wire depending on which Eagles side shows up this week.

I'm backing Dallas to win their division. Both Romo and Eli have had good seasons, but I have a feeling the Giants will capitulate. Will beat the Jets this week, and then lose the final game.

I think Eli Manning has done remarkable things with a very mediocre rushing side (averaging just 86 YPG) and a defence conceding 385 YPG (4th worst in NFL behind Pats, Pack and Bucs).

Edited by buddha69: 21/12/2011 11:51:15 AM Congrats! Bit disapointed with my season. Started out pretty well, getting Peyton and Chris Johnson in the draft, and went backwards from there!
