Easy, finally Wenger through the force of injury and or tactical change has replaced Mertersacker, Ramsey, Giroud and Walcott for Gabriel, El Neny, Wellbeck, and Iwobi. That's 4 positive changes from the starting 11 that went through a patch of shit form a few weeks back now. Just wish Wenger was quicker to react and had more faith in the full squad. I must admit Iwobi came as a complete surprise to me as I had no idea about him till the end of this season but as for the others I'd been calling for them for weeks with Walcott off for Campbell instead of Iwobi. Now that I've seen Iwobi I would have to say Walcott has dropped further down the pecking order for me. It's really not that easy. Gabriel and Welbeck were both starting regularly in the middle of our shit run of form a few weeks ago. Welbeck has started 4 of the last 6 games since he came back from injury and Gabriel has started 7 of the last 9 games. Walcott started 1 game during our bad run of form and didn't even come off the bench in the derby so I'd hardly count him as part of the lineup during that run a few weeks ago. Iwobi and Elneny are the only 2 players you listed who weren't starting regularly during that bad run of form. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 4/4/2016 10:14:45 PM They need to be starting together unlike in the past where it would be Gab and Per and then Gab and Koc. I'm saying from the away game to Everton and home to Watford it's been the line up I've been hoping to see ( as I said the only difference was I had Campbell instead of Iwobi ) and the difference is obvious. Wenger's biggest problem since day one has been his patience. He only reacts and chops and changes because of injury and once the chance of being champions has been thrown away. As for Iwobi did you know much about him and what position he was playing in the reserves before making his debut in the first team?

Yeah been following Iwobi for a while, mainly because of FM  so not really surprised with what he's doing. If there was going to be a young player who had a real breakout this year it was always going to be him and not Jeff like a lot of people thought or hoped it would be.
He's played a lot upfront in the reserves, and that might be where he ends up eventually, either that or as a #10. One thing's for sure, England will be kicking themselves in 5 years for missing out on him.

Cheeky grin = Xhaka confirmed
For the first time, but certainly not the last, I began to believe that Arsenals moods and fortunes somehow reflected my own. - Hornby

U21's won 3-1. Rosicky played the first half and got an assist. Wilshere played 65 mins.

*Dresses head to toe in Arsenal gift shop clothing with Arsenal brand headphones (as well as Arsenal brand earbuds) and sips from an Arsenal gift shop water bottle *Refuses to criticise Arsene Wenger, the players or the owners *Believes Arsene Wenger should get a contract extension, purely because of what he's done in the past *When people criticise his opinions he responds by yelling over the top of them, refusing to listen to them and shouting "I GET BEHIND MY TEAM I GET BEHIND MY TEAM I GET BEHIND MY TEAM I GET BEHIND MY TEAM WHO AM I WHO AM I WHO AM I WHO AM I" Ty is pathetic

So Jack played 90 mins for the U21's last night and will play again on Monday. If he gets through that, according to Arsene, he'll be considered available for the first team.

Sell everyone, I'm fucking done. If I were Alexis and Ozil I'd be getting out as quick as I could just to salvage what's left of my career.
Will struggle to even make the Champions League at this rate, and maybe that's a good thing. Gone from annoying to a complete and utter embarrassment in like 3 months.

This club is completely fucked at the moment, it's become so fucking obvious that change is needed, yet that change is impossible at the moment.

Same formation, same players, same tactics, same strategy, same mentality, same opening, same end to the game. Only thing that's different is the team that Arsenal fuck it up against. Can't wait to see how Ty defends this pile of shit.

 So somehow we've managed to find ourselves 7pts worse off than at the same stage last season.
Far as I can tell there have been 3 bright spots all season, home to United, home to Bayern and Welbeck's goal against Leicester. Apart from that it's all been pretty much complete shit.

The 2nd part still rings true right now I think even having slept on it. I'd still tear up Walcott's contract immediately if given the chance, complete fraud.

The only thing Walcott has left at this point is pace, and instead of blitzing past those two Palace midfielders, he tries to do some stepovers, fucks it up spectacularly and then they're off. I honestly don't know who would actually buy him.

Plenty of teams would want to buy him, most of those teams probably couldn't afford his wages. We might be lucky and have someone who wants to take advantage of him being a home grown player.

Like many clubs at present - a huge clean out should be made for the following season. Bozza late Sunday night - since the Leicester home win its been a very ordinary points tally and overall considering the lack of form by other usual contenders this year should have been - once again.
