Incredible performance by the Aussies. Six wickets and a full day's play, it's in the bag.

I wouldn't say it's over. AB is incredible and Faf loves these situations. The reverse Pattinson was getting in the last few overs was great news for us though

Alright, so David Warners in good form. I'd never thought I'd say it, but he's turning into a very good test cricketer. But did I seriously just see an article titled "Is he really better than Viv?".

Come back in five years and we can discuss if he's lived up to the billing. Way too early to make those comparisons now. A damn good start though.

Roar_Brisbane wrote:So this series all but confirms MJ is currently the best bowler in the world. =d> =d> =d> =d> =d> After watching the Poms thrash the Aussie attack for over 300 runs for none at the Bellerive Oval, I said to my wife the only hope for and Ashes victory is Johnson. I'd just seen him bowling some deliveries in India at 155kph in a One Day series. MJ only hit that pace a few times in the Oz summer and South Africa. Apparently, he is hard to pick up with his slinging angle. Donald and Lee were consistently very fast, ( Lee still is), but they supposedly had no flight or loop in their delivery and were/are easier to pick up the length. It has been suggested Morkel is the same. Australia's current attack may be the fastest of all time. Nannes can bowl at 150kph, Johnson and Cummins can bowl over 150 regularly, Harris has exceeded 150 and Pattinson was bowling at 149 early in the innings a few years ago. Stark can also bowl over 140. Denton and Geeves for Tassie could bowl over 145 a few years ago too. Lee can still bowl over 140kph as well. Siddle seems to have lost about 10kph in pace. The same with Watson. Edited by Decentric: 6/3/2014 10:53:21 PM

I'll believe Cummins can bowl over 150 regularly when he actually puts 2 consecutive games together.

Steyn's been performing at a top level for a longer period than Johnson.
Really the credit should go to Lehmann for bringing the team back together and making them play for each other instead of for themselves. There are some talented players but nobody in the team is the best in the world at their respective disciplines.

As of right now he's the best bowler in the world, whether that be the case in six months time who knows but right now he is. :d I'm surprised to see you in the cricket thread, after the way MJ and Boof have made you look like a right twat.

And I never doubted Boof.

Loving the likes of Hong Kong and Nepal being in the ICC World T20. One has to wonder how Hong Kong are going to cope against Bangladesh if they can't even make 70 against fucking Nepal

Former NZ test cricketer Lou Vincent has been found guilty of match fixing. Has also been 'banned for life', by the ECB.

So I'm watching India v England and I was wondering are they using the review system because India should have had a wicket before. IIRC India opposed the system as it would ruin any chance of their moronic screaming to influence the umpires decision.

Sachin had a tantrum about it, therefore India had a tantrum about it and demanded the ICC ban it. India are a stain on cricket, let alone the rest of the world.
