I think we can all agree than without francis and MDS, the blog ran well tonight. I would also consider to add @GrantlyBernard to our twitter list. Check out some of his tweets and see what you think.

i find all this enthusiasm great. can i suggest though,
if you logging in to the console to set it up for a coming game or something, please tell the commentator of that game. the commentator may get a bit confused if he finds polls and scoreboards up and lineups posted and stuff and hes not sure if hes done it or he dsnt know and then does a duplicate.
so feel free to help out if you needed, but inform the commentator in advance. the lineups that come on the 442 website are not the actual lineup, so we should wait for the ones to come on the tv i think.

Victory>Heart wrote:Agreed Zimbos, but people like to see the squads They do, but the point is, It should be left to the actual commentator to be posting that. I think from now on, we'll say that it's up to the Main Commentator to set up polls/Scoreboard and Lineups before the match. If they request someone else to do it, sure. But otherwise, that should be the responsibility of the main commentator. I agree with Zim, it can get very distracting for people to have somone else doing things that aren't expected.

Leave it to them, because we don't need people messing around with the console in between matches.

For what it's worth, I still think scouse_roars commentary takes the cake, very in depth and provides good analysis.
Considering 2 weeks ago this was still an idea in my head that I thought would never comes to fruition, I'm stoked of where it's gone!

Yeah, credit to you Mizza, you got this going.
I've started a Feedback thread in AF. We've had Commentary for 2 rounds now, so most people will have followed it, and it'll be good to get some constructive criticism/feedback. Hopefully we get some good ideas/advice through this and can keep improving.

The idea of little images intergrated in the console window was a great idea. What i did is I uploaded some images into the media uploader. They are under the 'uploaded images' folder and they can be used by just clicking on them. Hopefully they enhance our coverage

Glad I finally have something that combines my encyclopedic knowledge of football and my fast accurate typing. Hopefully I can integrate some running jokes into the coverage.... or some music metaphors
