Rumour has it they will be heading to the courts

They have big finsncial problems and
ex president Alex Soubevski sorry about the spelling
is owned money and the ex commitee is owned large sum of money
will be taking them to courts.

Looks like they had no money and we be lucky to survive the season
or get relegated

wont matter of FFA do what theyve set out to do. once they take over FNSW (which is happening as we speak), the long term vision is undoubtedly for association based PL teams.

good question. and it all depends on if the scenario arises. although we are not alone, olympic, marconi, syd utd, bonno, bankstown, apia, all in the same boat.

an option would be to integrate with the local association. there have been attempts at this in the past albeit not by us. i recall that bankstown did this maybe 10 years ago in which the assoc ran the youth league teams right up to the 20's and then the lions ran the first grade and 20's.

the obvious issue remains and that is whether the associations themselves can financially support a pl setup. i think they will struggle to do this. so whether people like them or not, the old dinosaurs of the NSL and the other old school PL teams will continue to serve a purpose. thats my opinion anyway.
