Good to see St Albans Dinamo back in the top flight. One of the unsung clubs in Australian football producing many players for Melbourne Knights that went onto the national team jersey.

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article VPL Round One Wrap?
SPRINGVALE White Eagles made a horror start to their top flight campaign, conceding seven goals in two games and slumping to the bottom of the Alanic Victorian Premier League table at the end of round one.

Have your say.

Excellent wrap Dejan
Really Enjoyed reding the detail of your summary
Hopefully we can look forward to this weekly
Maybe even profile 1 club each week during the season

Great stuff again

Thanks Chris. It will hopefully be weekly.

Nice to see South Melbourne playing with two strikers :) I tipped them for the title, despite Oakleigh's unbelievably strong squad!

Fingers crossed

I believe we have the best system in place - but once the grounds get heavy and bogged - system means little

I like what EK has brought to the team - most of all respect from the playing group

I also believe by seasons end we will have 2-3 youth players playing regular football under Eddie

Oakleigh have opened up the checkbook again this year - once more little develoipement opportunity

Mate, two wins out of two, Bentleigh are the team to beat ;)

It'd be nice if Bentleigh were able to play their seniors matches on their synthetic pitch. Their grass pitch is looking pretty average at the moment and would avoid the problem of getting heavy and bogged l;ater in the season. Im guessing the reason they only play the u21s games on it is because theres not enough room for the spectators if the seniors played on the synthetic, or is there another reason?
