YOUTH scouts from English Premier League club West Ham United and Football League One outfit Milton Keynes Dons will visit Tasmania later this month to assess potential talent at a two-day trial.
Trial organiser, Australian Football Scouting Roadshow, has announced a minimum of two scouts will be sent to represent the English clubs.
The trials will be held on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April at Devonport City Soccer Club's Valley Road and will cater for ages nine to 18 years, although players aged up to 22 can register.
Registered field players will undergo individual skill analysis, play small-sided games and full-sided matches, while keepers will undergo separate skills assessment.
There will be four other trials conducted throughout April across Australia, with three in New South Wales and one in South Australia.
A minimum of five trialists will be selected from across Australia, based on their performances at the trials, and will be handed free "experience trials" in the United Kingdom at one of the clubs.
