What would you do?

Tonight I was at another split state league club training session.

The club TD was really frustrated. He is TD of the club and some of the club coaches refuse to follow his recommendations/directives about playing style and formations. He is only too willing to go through the incremental and sequential stages of setting up 4-3-3 for all that club's teams.

Without any equivocation he is one of the top coaches in the state. If I don't get answers from KNVB HQ in Zeist, he is my first port of call.

What would you do in this scenario?

Do you know of other similar scenarios?

How about that.

So have I.

There goes selection based on skill.
All the players had better work on their sit ups and push ups.
I hope it is not Queensland club

My selections have always been based on those who have the attributes to make good sockah players (you know, 11 v 11, where the ref keeps a note of the score).

You mean harder, stronger, faster and taller.

Some kids will never have the physical attributes to make a pro sockah player.

That's life.

Putrid statement. Its far far more complex than that.
