The performance section is intended to used to discuss issues related to improving performance as a player or coach. Most of the contributions  have comprised interesting views, questions and resources.

Regrettably, for some time, it's been misused because of personality differences between individuals. it's also being used to promote private profit making businesses of unproven worth.

Let's try and keep to the original purpose before the section becomes unreadable.

I've recently concluded that FFA is operated as a profit making corporation with Frank Lowy as head.

FFA charges almost anyone for information about coaching. There are few sessions that are free but essentially any FFA coaching courses cost a lot of money and coaches need pin numbers to access FFA training ground methodology. Some who've accessed it have been unhappy with the content.
How can a national football body improve coaching if people have to pay money for acquiring expertise, particularly Advanced Coaching courses which are supposed to train coaches for professional coaching when there are few jobs available for professional coaches?
If one has qualified coaches at private football schools, I can't see a problem. Apart from one off training sessions for individual clubs, FFA only coach. A handful of elite players. They have to pay a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars for the privilege of FFA coaching them.

Locally Ken Morton's School is having more success with professional opportunities than FFA programs.
