With the conclusion of the NSL and reality setting in for this proud Club that they no longer had a part in modern football in Australia, uncertainty loomed on whether the Club would continue, or fold and become a distant memory. In the last hour, funds were made, and Sydney Olympic survived. Although crowds started off promising, a poor finish in their first season in the New South Wales Premier League saw crowd numbers dwindling and interest in the club falling.

Thank you mate. I have spoken to many like yourself. It seems those who criticise are hung up on stereotypes and the past.

We don't expect to change them. Football has moved on and so have we.

Look at the reality - I am an avid Olympic fan. I have been to countless games over the past 25 years. I can honestly say I can only ever remember one incidence of crowd trouble in that time.

Not a bad record. SFC have had crowd issues. NRL clubs have crowd issues. Lets not over exaggerate things.
