My local club Majura FC is about to head to Asia, Borneo in fact, to play a few games.
They are a girls Under 13 team mixture of Div 1 and Div 2.
A few people have been chatting about this and the question has come up:
Is Majura FC the first Aussie girls(U15 or less) club team (non-representative side) to tour Asia from Australia.
Shoot it down, but you better be quick as we're heading on Friday and unless I hear otherwise..they are gonna claim it:)
So far we've got our ego's in front - anyone know a girls team from the West who may have gone. I've asked a number of legends of grassroots football and no-one seems to have heard of a team who has gone to Asia from Australia.
Lots of boys teams to Asia, fair few girls team to Europe, lots of Representative teams but no girls club teams - any help appreciated?
