Scottish giants honour promise
IAN BUTTERWORTH | June 27th, 2012
SIX coaches from Scottish soccer giants Glasgow Rangers junior coaching academy are in Darwin to conduct a series of clinics - and for one, it is like father, like son.
NT Loyal Rangers Supporters Club and Mindil Aces Football Club arranged the week-long clinic and, despite some huge financial and administrative issues atthe mighty football club, it honoured a commitment to come to Darwin with the full contingent of six coaches.
One of the Scottish visitors is goalkeeper coach Fraser Stewart, who remarked that his father and two brothers all guarded the net during their playing days.
