A MAN has listed cuddling, a tolerance for shopping and oral sex among his skill set in a written application after a woman posted on Facebook that she was looking for a boyfriend.

Far from romancing the lovelorn student who created the post, the potential 'applicant' sets out why he would be suitable for the role in a hilarious neatly-typed job application style letter, later posted on Imgur.

"I am writing to you in regard to the position of boyfriend," the letter begins.

"I became aware of this position through the social networking website, Facebook.

"I feel I am well qualified for the position that is offered, as I am a caring individual and an all round good person."

The woman who posted the boyfriend request said she did it as a joke, but came home to find the letter slipped under her dorm room door.

The man lists his skills to include "oral sex, ability to listen (read 'really listen'), exceptional navigation skills, and ability to prepare my own meals".

He also says he's a skilled gamer who is laid back and likes to hang out.

Many respondents to the Imgur post have urged the woman to go out with the man.

There was no word on whether the applicant was successful.
