The megaquake 2 years ago is believed to be second coming of Jogan quake in 869.
This megaquake 1,000 years ago was followed by big one in current Tokyo metropolitan area 9 years later.
Then, followed by likes of Tonankai megaquake 18 years later after Jogan quake 869.

Next big one may hit Tokyo in around 7 years.
Then real monster may hit central/south pacific coast in 16 years.
Megaquake 2 years ago is pulling the rest of the land plate toward the pascific, while sea plate keep on sliding below the land plate.
Nobody know how much unseen big asperity is strained right now...

Tokyo in around 7 years.
Since I was small, they have been telling and warning it.
But it has never been real and looks imminent...

Hope they miss, as they have been doing so all the time.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, the real one would be much milder than this, I suppoe
