Agree. I've been listening for about 2 hours now and its not just the lack of sensitivity, but it almost seems as if some of the committee are trying to 'score points'. The amount of times I have heard big speeches about how horrible the alleged actions are and how they must be condemned only for Pell to reply 'of course, I agree 100%' is significant - he has repeated that sort of thing 20 times now it seems. Every one of the members have seemed to make that sort of speech to Pell, whilst one of them even seemed to be making jokes at Pell's expense. I doubt we would see this if it wasn't publicly televised. Now the issue is not simply the grandstanding itself, but worse is that it means we simply don't get down to the key questions, time gets wasted, and justice could potentially be denied.
