We are delighted to welcome back former Sydney United 58 FC players and notable celebrities to Sydney United Sports Centre.
Hopefully most of them will be fit for the big Celebrity match on the day.
Coaches Jimmy Patikas and Ron Corry will be keen to see some of the former glory return in what will be a special event, part of full day of festivities at Sydney United Sports Centre on Sunday 2nd June.
Teams (Brave Hearts v Cosmos) will be announced at 1 pm on the day from a formidable list of invitees. Former Sydney United 58 FC players many of whom made professional careers overseas and represented their country top the bill.
They include well known keepers Mark Bosnich and Zeljko Kalac; players such as David Zdrilic, Jason Culina, Robbie Slater and Zlatko Arambasic; others appearing have also gone onto very successful leadership positions like Graham Arnold and Tony Popovic. And the list goes on; we simply can’t name them all here.
With a number of Fox Sports personalities also joining it’s a Celebrity game not to be missed.
Kick-off is at 1.30pm.
