Have heard from three people now that Hull City are looking to table a contract offer to Mark Schwarzer. Hull are apparently waiting until the Socceroos qualifiers are over to begin discussions, but it sounds like it will obviously be a one year deal.

Newly promoted Hull are without a designated number one as last season they rotated between two on loan keepers in Ben Amos (Manchester United) and David Stockdale (Fulham) - the latter of the two was being kept out of their first team by Schwarzer.

Although, current Beskitas and Scotland goalkeeper Allan McGregor is apparently also on Hull's radar with reports in the UK saying that Hull had already made a £1m offer for the keeper earlier this week, only for the Hull board state that no immediate transfer is imminent.

Palace? QPR?

I doubt Palace, their keeper has been there for a while and seems pretty settled.

Hull will probably be more interested in making David stockdale's loan move permanent.

But would you risk not getting a proven premier league quality keeper on the cheap or take in a keeper who is untested in the prem league ?

It's not actually that often that teams change their keeper after promotion.
