Getting some interests from Japan, Korea and Europe.

The 25-year-old is understood to have attracted interest from clubs in Europe, Japan and Korea, but there is still a possibility he will see out his contract with Al-Arabi.

Victory will not be signing him.

Victory has also denied any moves to sign Spiranovic.

His last move to the middle east was the worst career move of all time..the quality of his play clearly suffered, surely he'll try to go to somewhere decent where he will be sure of getting good game time.

Personally, can't know if his quality of play suffered, as once he moved there he NEVER got a look in with the NT. Admittedly his quality of play was already perhaps suffering due to the lack of game time at Urawa, but moving to the Mid East at this stage of his career was a BAD, BAD move indeed and clearly he hasn't benefited from it too much, football wise anyway.

If he wants to still be a chance for the Socceroos, which he EASILY could be, once he's playing regularly at a decent level again - then obviously this next move important. IF no A-League clubs are interested (SOMEHOW?! :-s :?) - then if he returns to NE Asia, then hopefully it's with a team and under a coach who will actually give him a fair shot at a regular first team spot.

He's a CB, tall and obviously offers a bit more than others snapped up, in the K-League for instance, like Cornthwaite, Hamill and some others. He has amongst the best pedigree of ALL our Aussie CBs playing in the AFC, so IF he can't find a team who WILL play him, then there's a big problem there...

...and maybe he might need a new/better agent!
