3.24 It is not open to FFA to unilaterally introduce
variants to the training compensation system
which are at odds with the binding provisions
and principles of the FIFA Regulations on the
Status and Transfer of Players, which are agreed
to between FIFA and FIFPro. The PFA opposes
without reservation the proposed “players point
system” recently announced by FFA following the
National Competitions Review. It both violates
FIFA regulations and the principle of freedom of
movement. It will be challenged.
