Is it just me or was that possibly the worst response ever made given the delicate situation by the 'board member' of Manly United?!? Air of over-privileged much?

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Keifer Dotti rocked by racism row?
SIX weeks after being subjected to a racial slur in an U20s match, Sydney FC youth defender Keifer Dotti finally has some closure.

Have your say.

Not condoning racist behavior at all but lets be realistic. If it was the other way around we wouldn't have even heard about it.

Other way around how? Dotti turning around and calling the other bloke a white XXXX?

Seriously...

FFS it isn't that hard people! There are certain things that just should not be said. Period. And racist abuse of an oppressed minority group member is high on that list. It doesn't matter if the abuser thought it was "heat of the moment" stuff, which no doubt it was. It still doesn't make it acceptable in any way, and the abuser must pay the consequences.

I am far more disappointed at the defensive stand Manly have adopted, instead of accepting responsibility.

exactly, you wouldnt hear a peep about it. what if someone was called a wog c@#7, would the same action be taken? fark no!

typical sweep it under the carpet stuff from manly and fnsw.
God forbid it was one of our players or worse yet supporters, it would be a full blown media circus!
