Hey guys

So I have a video file which is .mp4

I want to watch it on my TV as opposed to on the computer. Either by putting it on a USB, or on a DVD.

I've googled a few things, and nothing is really working.

How do I best turn my .mp4 file into a normal video file that will play?

For reference, most of the files I put on my USB and play through my PS3 to my TV are .avi files. So yeah, without much messing around - how do I convert a .mp4 into a .avi file?

Cheers!

WDTV LIVE, works a treat

And if you want to run a media server rather then connect to shared drives, use PS3 Media server.

While on the topic, if you have a PS3 download PS3 Media server (don't get the latest version) and you can stream from your PS3
