Interstate exchange visits by clubs

Often the only players who get to travel interstate are part of rep programs.

ATM our NPL club is negotiating with at least one other interstate club about a promising interstate exchange. There are logistical and organisational issues to resolve, but it looks promising.

We often forget the most important thing about football is the camaraderie and friendships made through playing the game.

The best times for exchanges to Tasmania are before the season, January, February, March, depending on the team and the comp, and the end of the season, September /October.

Maybe this can be a thread, where a poster puts down the size, and region of a state the club is situated in, and, if you are interested in one of these interstate visits. One can denote ages of teams from seniors down to under 12s.

Our pitches are at their worst in late July/early August.

Tassie grass pitches are good from about September through to May, even early June. We also have two all weather, synthetic pitches too.

If you have some very good underage teams, there is a possibility the Skills Acquisition Program and Skilleroos, may be available for some games too, if it is January or February. They have national championship commitments in October.
