They had a discussion on Kick Off about it, Zwaanswijk said that Perth Glory players are not happy about the signing of Edward's sons.

Thankyou for the input, fellow Glory fan, JDW - You've obviously seen the clip (I haven't) and what you have just described is ALOT different than what Iridium1010 suggested in the OP.

Speculative nonsense indeed! [-(

/close thread!

Umm no, he clearly said "players are unhappy there" he didn't name names obviously. Mrjew said he heard the same thing, and Sloppy sausage time said the same thing a few weeks a go.

Heck WHERE is the clip? Did he actually say he had heard from the players that they were unhappy or was just projecting that they may/could be, in such a scenario?

And tbh IF true - I don't wish to pinpoint, but any squad members with sour grapes may naturally be some 'on the outer'. Though I somehow doubt it's the likes of Cernak... Surely NOT 'clubman' McGarry... Makeche was in the NYL a while, but came back last week...

Harold on the other hand - his form has been mixed and his temperament/performances questioned by fans or something along those lines... There's ALOT of competition for places in that attacking third area - Zahra came back in, Harold about, De Silva on the slow come back, McGarry can play there and Cernak on the outer... at the least, aswell as Ryan Edwards, ofc. But the two VISAs occupy the wide areas.

My logic may not apply here though, they COULD be 'regulars' or even 'team leaders/veterans' who are unhappy, even Burns, Vukavic or the like - But Vukavic himself dismissed talk of his own contract disquiet or what not, from another infamous source.

This is toxic stuff and it's not productive, especially when the team is showing promising signs, including Ryan Edwards especially.

And Ali Edwards has well proven he's prepared to give ALL the West Aussie young guns a go, from Davies and Clisby at the back, to Woodcock the other day, O'Neill has seen far more opportunity, has lifted up the pecking order greatly, since Fergie's era. And with Burns out - that just opens opportunity for more central midfielders, whether Cameron Edwards is there, or not. IIRC McGarry came back in then.

Again, some good recent results, esp last week - many returning players, Sidnei firing etc...

Believe me now?
