There's a fun little browser-based multiplayer game called Haxball out there that's pretty much a 2D version of soccer and air hockey mixed together. The great thing about Haxball is that there's no download or installation required. You just jump on http://www.haxball.com, type in a username of your choice, join or create a room and play. Another great thing about the game is that you don't need amazing internet or a beast computer to play the game. It's simple, easy, and fun.

For those who want a little more competition, Australia has it's own community for the game where an official league is ran, plus other fun tournaments and games. The league is played on Sundays and Wednesdays and the games are streamed live and commentated to the community. The community has been trimming a bit lately and we're looking for new players to come in, play, improve, be a part of the league and community and enjoy themselves. We have a forum chat which is used for discussing EPL soccer, A-league soccer, AFL, other leagues or sports, or just having a chat with other members, and PUB (public) rooms are hosted most nights for anybody that just wants to have a game. If you have decent internet you'll probably be able to host a room yourself as well.
I guess this is a bit of a recruiting task, but hopefully this post attracts some new players to the game, but if not that's alright too :)
