As a teenage kid (18 or 19 or so?) I was driving my mums car, got caught speeding by a fixed camera on the way to Tamworth, she gave me the letter & the fine (which I paid) but I never got motivated/confident enough to go find a JP to sign the sheet saying I was driving the car as opposed to her. By the time I was ready to find a JP, the date to do so had passed so Mum was stuck with the demerit points. I never told her, and probably never will. But ever since then, I've refused to let myself live with guilt in relation to Mum so attempt to go above&beyond for her whenever I can.
