Hodgson kept on.

The performance at the World Cup, by England, with 92 professional clubs, and the richest league in the world, with most of their team selected from big EPL clubs, and accruing 1 point in its draw against Costa Rica, with a population of 5 million, seems like a pretty pleasing effort for the powers that be in England.

Australia beat Costa Rica a few months ago.

I disagree. Hodgson was out of his depth coaching Liverpool. That's not going to get any better with England. He's got some very talented young players at his disposal and if they can't play together and form some kind of chemistry then that's on Hodgson, not on the players.
