A place where personal safety is absolutely assured. With the Orthodox church and the traditional Greek family as the twin pillars of society—the island has evolved into a haven of serenity.
Despite the invasion of Turkey in 1974, which divided the island in South and North, South Cyprus is one of the safest places in Europe and the World.
The crime rate is almost nonexistent so that you don't even need to lock your door at night. Cyprus sightseeing attractions are a mixture of different eras - Ancient Greek ruins, the beachside birthplace of Aphrodite, ancient Christian chapels, monasteries, and Byzantine castles.

Why should I trust a guy who
magically killed a fig tree
out of spite for not bearing figs just for him even though it was out of season (while nobody was around, mind you) on any matter relating to fruit?
