Football Queensland has already held open forums in Cairns and Townsville and is now planning to gather views in Brisbane on Saturday, 1 November at QSAC.

In his recent State of the Game speech, Football Federation Australia CEO, David Gallop announced that FFA were developing a National Plan for the Whole of Football that will set us on our way to making football the biggest and most popular game in Australia. They aim to publish the National Plan in early 2015 at the conclusion of the Asian Cup.

The first phase of this National Plan is to listen to the game's key stakeholders - clubs at all levels and their members, referees, coaches, parents, volunteers, supporters, sponsors, and governments, to gather opinions on every aspect, ranging from Community Football to National Teams and from Fan Involvement to Commercial Revenues..

Football Queensland are holding an open forum to help capture the voice of the people to input into the process that will see a road map delivered to guide all the key stakeholders in the game and unify our purpose.

The forum is free and will be held:

1 November, 2014

10 am start

Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre

Kessels Road, Nathan

The scope of the forum will cover all facets of the game including:

Community football
Facility development
Governance structures
Elite player and coach development
Commercial revenues
National competitions
Our national teams
Fan Engagement
