There will be a staggered entry for clubs in different competitions as follows:

NPL Clubs - enter at Round 4;
State League Clubs - enter at Round 3;
Sunday Premier Clubs - enter at Round 2; and
All other Clubs - enter at Round 1.
Rounds 1 & 2 will consist of matches in the metropolitan area, the South West, Kalgoorlie, Albany and Geraldton. In Round 1, clubs in the South West, Kalgoorlie, Albany and Geraldton will play matches against local opposition. Matches will be held at centralised locations in the Perth metropolitan area or regional cities if the home drawn club is unable to access its home venue at that time. Matches from Round 3 onwards will be held on a home and away basis at the first drawn club's home venue. Should the club not be able to gain access to its home venue for a particular match, it will be the home club's responsibility to source another venue. Travel subsidies may be available to clubs that are required to travel from a regional area to Perth or vice versa.

The two winners of the Round 7 matches will qualify for the National Round of 32 of the competition that is run by FFA at which point the qualifying clubs from the other 8 member federations and the Hyundai A-League clubs will be pooled together.

Maximum Number of Clubs

The maximum numbers of clubs that may enter are as follows:

NPL Clubs - 11;
State League Clubs - 24;
Sunday Premier Clubs - 12;
All Other Perth Metropolitan Clubs - 44; and
Clubs from South West, Great Southern, Goldfields, Mid-West - Unlimited
Please note that entries will be on a first come, first served basis.

Entry Fee

The entry fees for participation in the Westfield FFA Cup are as follows:

NPL Clubs - $750. In 2015, Football West will pay $500 of this.
All Other Clubs - $300. In 2015, Football West will pay $250 of this.
Clubs that qualify for the Round of 32 (winners of Round 7 matches) - Additional $2,000. This will be the sole responsibility of the qualifying clubs.
In exchange for Football West's contribution, competing clubs will be required to continue to pay match official fees on match day.

Venue Requirements - Round of 32

While the venue requirements for the WA Preliminary Rounds will be consistent with the level of competition in which each club participates, you should be aware at the time of entering that from the Round of 32 - ie after the completion of the WA Preliminary Round 7, the Westfield FFA Cup is a midweek competition. A condition of entry into the competition is that each club acknowledges this and no consideration whatsoever will be given to any request to move a match from midweek to a weekend.

A consequence of this is that Round of 32 matches must be played under suitable floodlighting. A club that qualifies for the Round of 32 and earns the right to host a match MUST do so at a ground with the following minimum lighting levels:

Home match against an NPL or other grassroots club - 200 Lux;
Home match against a Hyundai A-League club - 350 Lux (if the field of play is in good condition); and
Home match against a Hyundai A-League club - 500 Lux (if the field of play is NOT in good condition).
Should a club qualify for Round 7, it MUST obtain a Lighting Certificate dated no earlier than 1 January 2015 to demonstrate that its venue meets the lighting standard above. The lighting certificate must be provided to Football West no later than 2 business days prior to the Round 7 match. If the club's home venue does not have floodlights, no lighting certificate is required. Other venue requirements apply and these will be communicated to qualifying clubs as they become available from FFA.
