Oceania is not strong enough to be on its own & just like the Caribbean joined Central America & North America to create the CONCACAF Confederation, Oceania should merge with Asia & become the Asia-Oceania Confederation. The likes of Tahiti, Fiji, Salomon Islands, PNG, Samoa, Tonga, New Caledonia, American Samoa & Cook Islands would begin its Asia-Oceania Cup qualifying campaign competing with Guam, Laos, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, Palestine, Northern Mariana Islands, Maldives, Napal, Timor-Leste, Philippines, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Myanmar, Bhutan etc while New Zealand would be in the group with Kuwait, China, Bahrain, Vietnam etc.

What's the big fuss? In the qualification for the 1966, 1970, 1974, 1978 & 1982 World Cups it was Asian/Oceania combined. Could have up to 6 countries in the World Cup finals with 4 direct qualification & 2 in play offs.
