THIS time, he didn’t get high. He got booked.
One-hit wonder Afroman, aka Joseph Foreman, has been charged with assault after punching a female fan in the face — and the footage isn’t pretty.
Foreman was performing at a post-mardi gras parade show in Biloxo, Mississippi, when the fan gatecrashes the stage, drink in hand.
As she begins to bump and grind against Foreman, he snaps and slugs her in the face, knocking her to the ground.

He plays on as the disoriented gatecrasher, who TMZ reports was “bleeding and crying”, gets up and wobbles off stage.
It’s also reported the singer continued to perform “until the house lights came on and the music stopped”.
Foreman was arrested outside the venue.

Reports indicate that immediately after the incident the victim made a citizen’s arrest against the entertainer, who was formally charged by police on a misdemeanour simple assault. The unidentified woman later filed an affidavit against the forty-year-old.
Yet Foreman’s rep noted security has been an ongoing issue at his concerts, with a number of fans gatecrashing the stage on previous tours.
“This was a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space,” his rep said told Billboard.
“It was uncharacteristic behaviour that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces.”
Foreman was released from jail after posting a $330 bond.

“Afroman was about five songs into his set when the incident occurred,” Chase Taylor, who owns the venue where the incident took place, told WLOX News.
“We pulled the plug on him, and security met him at the bottom of the stage to escort him outside, where he was taken into custody.
“Kress Live does not condone this type of behaviour. We like to keep a safe environment, and we addressed the situation the best way we could.”
Foreman gave authorities “no problem whatsoever” while incarcerated, said Biloxi’s police chief.
In even more shocking news, Afroman’s song Because I Got High was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Solo Performance in 2002.

It's shit like this thread that made me give up on ET in the first place. An echo chamber of man-children bemoaning how feminism is destroying the world when it should really be a bunch of hilarious banter directed at AfromanGT, as someone nobly attempted prior to derailment.

Yep.

This. When I saw three pages of this I was convinced it was three pages of paying out Afroman.

intent vs outcome
