Warrington Wolves have confirmed the departure of long-serving centre Chris Bridge to Widnes Vikings. Centre Chris Bridge will bring the curtain down on 10 years at Warrington Wolves at the end of the season after signing a two-year deal with Super League rivals Widnes Vikings. The 31-year-old made his Warrington debut in March 2005 after arriving from Bradford Bulls, going on to make 228 appearances and scoring 107 tries for the Halliwell Jones Stadium outfit. "I'd like to thank Chris for giving great service to Warrington for over 10 years," said coach Tony Smith. "Chris has played his part in some special moments at Warrington and will be remembered fondly for the skilful displays he has regularly delivered. "He's had a frustrating last couple of years with injuries but I'm sure Chris will be doing his all to provide us with some more special moments before moving on next season. "We wish him and his family the very best for their new venture in 2016."
