Victoria's top tier is establishing itself as the strongest soccer competition beneath the A-League, with another player set to make the transition.
MV is exploring the possibility of signing Hume City attacker Jai Ingham for the rest of the season after he impressed in recent games against Kevin Muscat's side, including their gutsy FFA Cup Semi-final showing.
Ingham, 22, has trained with Victory for three weeks and the football department is likely to use the new "mature-age" player rule, which would mean his wages are outside the cap.

Not complaining about the depth. Katebian will get his chance, probably higher in the pecking order than Jai, but his performances in the NPLV this new season will justify that.

Could have been good to get a CM instead considering recent events, if there even is one remotely good enough.
