Probably deserves its own thread since its one of the biggest sporting tournaments in the world in terms of viewership crowds and length
The next two weeks we will have teams final warm up matches including australia's final game in south africa and the group a and b qualifiers with the minnows catching up very rapidly with the rest of the world
favourites would have to be india south africa and the windies who are dangerous in this form of the game with australia just behind
Australia have had a brutal warm up playing against arguably the two best teams in the world in india and south africa and have steadily improved throughout. But they definitely look weaker without starc and an in form faulkner. They have looked promising with the bat but have struggled with the ball
My strongest 11 actually includes a lot of all rounders since they have often done better with the ball
watson finch smith warner khawaja maxwell faulkner marsh/agar neville/wade hastings spinner (probably zampa)

if we bowl out zampa we probably win
to be fair kohli hitting wide yorkers for four was impressive. Coulter nile bowled two perfect wide yorkers that went to the boundary Wide yorkers are often considered the best ball to bowl at the death
Having said that if you bowl wide yorkers don't you usually have more fielders square to prevent the one shot you can consistently play against them? The other mystery is why apart from watson we didnt use the regular yorker more often. Sure there is the scoop shot but if you bowl it at a couple of times an over mixing it up with bouncers to discourage scoop shots it can be an effective delivery
Our fast bowlers don't seem to know how to bowl in this format
