Cahill will sign with Heart and may spend time on loan at NYCFC but I doubt it. He'll spend one season with Heart before heading a consortium to start a South Sydney franchise

Best possible scenario in terms of A-League marketing.. Good chance of South Sydney being successful off the pitch with old mate Timmy being the face.

Except that Timmy has absolutely nothing to do with the South of Sydney.

If anything his signing for SFC would be a local junior coming home type of story.

I don't know why people think he has any interest in creating a team in a region which means nothing to him. He's denied in the past that he's ever even been involved in talks at any level with these guys who just name drop him to get media attention
