Reports in Argentina have suggested Nicolas Colazo is on his way to Australia and Goal Australia understands Melbourne City are tracking himMelbourne City could be set to raid South America again with Boca Juniors' Nicolas Colazo on the A-League club's radar for their fifth and final import spot.Colazo's manager Sergio Levinton told an Argentine radio station on Thursday that the winger is considering offers from Boca's Primera Division rivals Colon and a club in Australia. Goal Australia understands that club is City, although the suggestion that discussions with Colazo have progressed to the point of a contract offer seem premature.

The 26-year-old is on a list of possible recruits for City, who are in the market for another marquee player to slot in alongside last season's leading striker Bruno Fornaroli and guest marquee Tim Cahill.

If City were to sign Colazo it would continue the club's recent preference for South American forwards with Fornaroli and Fernando Brandan already a part of John van 't Schip's squad.

According to the ever reliable Wikipedia he's played 19 games with no goalscoring return for All Boys since 2013. A dry spell that almost rivals mine
