The teams that haven't made the next stage of the 2019 Asian Cup qualifiers are playing an AFC sanctioned tournament in November.
Interestingly when AFC expanded Asian Cup 2018 /World Cup 2018 Qualifying they disbanded the previous AFC Challenge Cup which seems more or less to serve the same purpose, except that it had an Asian Cup spot for the winner.
