what is interesting or not, is NSWRL own that and not ARL. But they would most likely let them use the old emblem or similar for free.

They use that emblem everywhere on player and fan gear already (pics below). I imagine it wouldn't be an issue to change over quickly.
However I wouldn't be surprised if there was some pride associated with the decision, billionaires don't like being told what to do.
