I just got told by the same bloke who predicted Janko to SFC, 2 weeks prior, that Melbourne City are in talks with Vermaelen.
Also that he is looking for a lifestyle move and not a money move.

He would be an amazing signing for city and would definitely bring crowds and buzz to the club and league.
Ajax, Arsenal, Barcelona, Roma and the Belgium national team. Not a lot of players have played for as many iconic football teams.
