Playing games with your friends has been fun since the first arcade machines were installed across the country. Tucked into the corner of diners, fast food joints and bars, or given a home of their own in a glowing, beeping arcade frequented by every kid in the town, Arcades are the true origin of these fantastic free online games that we all know and love at Manti Games.

One of the best things about the arcade? Four or five kids gathered around one machine, watching the pro of the group smash the hardest level yet. Wow. Krunker. We used to play a lot of Call of Duty and Counter Strike, but those games took a serious amount of time investment. You had to learn maps, gun mechanics, and try not to rage and break stuff when you were killed again by xOxN00bKill4xOx. Krunker is a free online game for those who love playing shooters with their friends but just don’t have the time, money or emotional investment to jump into a full PC or Triple A console title.

Krunker is simple and yet provides compelling gameplay. Voxel graphics will remind you of Roblox, mostly, but the feel of the maps, guns and different classes are more based on Counter Strike and a game by the same developer called Vertix.io. Playing with your friends is very simple. You can join a Discord, or if you’re really old school, a Teamspeak, then share the server code so you can play in the same lobby. Pretty straightforward. You can also pick from a number of custom servers if you’re just looking for something fun rather than sweaty gameplay.

2. War Brokers
Can you tell we love a shooting game? War Brokers is another game in the style of Krunker.io, but on a completely different level. It’s easily one of the most sophisticated games available to play online with no download. Whereas Krunker is a stripped back experience for you and your friends playing casually, War Brokers will definitely challenge you more as the game is fairly complex and the mechanics are not easy to figure out at first.

Based more on Battlefield than Counter Strike, War Brokers has a gorgeous Voxel art style and plenty of guns, tanks and other vehicles which you can utilize to annihilate the enemy team...or your friends. Guns take a little while to unlock, and there is a downloadable Steam version for those who’d rather not rely on the clunky browser to see them through to another victory.
If you want the experience of a crazy, action-packed shooter but don’t want to fork out for a $60 game, War Brokers is absolutely your best bet. Check it out online now and get stuck in.
3. Gartic.io

This free online browser game is awesome to play with your friends and you don’t need to buy or download anything. Join a game with your friends and start drawing the most random selection of things you’ll ever hear. Based on the popular Draw My Thing, Gartic brought the game up to date by marketing itself as an .io game to fit popular trends.
It’s a simple game and completely hilarious. At the end of a certain amount of drawing and guessing rounds the game restarts, leaving you with plenty of opportunity to win the next game if you got slapped about in one!
Need to draw black beans? Good luck trying to accurately portray black beans to an incompetent room full of your friends. As you might imagine, total hilarity ensues and it’s definitely one the best gaming experience we’ve had with our friends. There are several other games with the same premise, but honestly we think Gartic is the best because of its range of words, awesome kit of drawing and color tools, and efficient lobby/game system which keeps everything running along smoothly. Nice.
