One week late than previous years, hopefully clubs all play each other with the same amount of times. 

- 3 byes per club confirmed
- Talk that the Australia Day fixture (Sydney and Melbourne) is cancelled
- No break for international fixtures

The AFL also has 5 games in Melbourne this weekend. 
I don't think it matters in high density populated cities.

I think its does. it keeps the fan interested and not distracted about other sports or hobbies.
