Thanks for your write-up. I bought a bike yesterday for my son. Build quality and components appear good.
But front and rear axle and pedals bearings are over tightened and would cause failure before one year. I had to remove each and just them to give play. This is not good enough for a bike of this cost to be delivered like this.
Still good value but you need to take it to a small bike shop not a large dealer and have someone that knows what they doing to check and adjust the bearings if you can't do it yourself. Who knows maybe it will be available in ALDI Special Buys catalogue next year.
