Perth Glory have lost only one of their last eight A-League matches against Melbourne City FC (W4, D3); although, that one defeat did come in their last meeting at HBF Park (3-2, March 2020).

Perth Glory have not scored a goal in the first half of any of their last five A-League games; the last time they went longer without a first-half goal was an eight-game stretch from January to February in 2014.

Melbourne City FC are undefeated in their last four A-League games played outside Victoria (W2, D2); the last and only time they went longer without a loss outside their home state was a six-game stretch from May to December 2015 (W4, D2).

Perth Glory are winless in their last six A-League games played on a weekday (D2, L4), while Melbourne City FC have won seven of their last eight weekday fixtures (L1).

Melbourne City FC have hit the woodwork 12 times this A-League season, the most of any team in the competition and 10 more times than Perth Glory (2).

Perth Glory boast a shooting accuracy of 54% this A-League season, the highest of any team in the competition five percentage points higher than Melbourne City FC (49%).

No player has made more assists from dead ball situations in the 2020/21 A-League season than Perth Glory’s Neil Kilkenny (5, also Jake Brimmer).

Only caught the second half and it looked like a training run - Perth just not in it. Then when a couple of chances presented themselves, Keough and Chianese fluffed their lines badly. The team needs a rebuild.

City building ominously. Galloway looked tremendous. 

Needs a new coach. This is what happens when you get the cheapest available.
