Australia skipper Mat Ryan is the latest Socceroo to cop an injury in the lead-up to the 2022 World Cup.
Ryan did not travel with his Danish club FC Copenhagen to Sevilla for Tuesday's UEFA Champions League.
FC Copenhagen boss Jacob Neestrup refused to disclose the injury but reassured that it was nothing major.
"Mathew is injured, but it is nothing serious," Neestrup told reporters. "Together we have assessed that it did not make sense for him to come here.
"Fortunately, we have several talented goalkeepers, and we expect him to be ready for the weekend." ... continued
