Not exactly an Aussie though.
I think the spirit of MCGs thread is which home grown coach will be the next to get a decent gig overseas?
The current Aussie Aleague coaches are not that impressive to be honest.
We haven't seen enough of Mile Sterjovski yet and I hear that he has inherited a pub team so who knows.
Vidosic inherited a premier squad. Too much quality to mess that up. He will be tested once he needs to make key recruitments.
We probably haven't seen enough of Zadkovic yet. Hard to say at this stage.
Moon will be gone by the seasons end. Probably not entirely his fault but he'll be the one that has to take responsibility.
Papas might be OK at a club with more resources, but who knows. Hasn't been overly impressive so far.
Rudan has been getting some good results but his squads always fall flat at the tail end of the season. I reckon he drives the players too hard and the summer just knocks them flat.
Corica has been performing way below where a club with their resources should be. If SFC miss finals again he'll be gone.
Popa is a good coach, but he got the recruitment completely wrong the season which has really cost them. I'm not sure they could justify keeping him if he gets the wooden spoon.
Aloisi has been invisible this season. Hard to say whether it's his fault or just being at a rubbish club.
Talay has been pretty good, but not fantastic. One of the better coaches at the moment. I believe his contract is up at the end of the season, so I reckon we'll see him at a different Aleague club next season. Maybe back at SFC?
Vaert has also been pretty good recently. Good recruitment and good use of the younger blokes. Can't see him going overseas anytime soon though.

Any NPL people on here that can point out any home grown NPL coaches that have potential?

I'm going to claim him.
Aussie citizen, got his tickets over here, coached acadamy and seniors over here, blokes more Australian than Harry Soutter.
