In my opinion the world has changed and I think it was around trump. All of a sudden it's republicans vs democrats male vs females old vs young npl vs a league lol who ever is trying to separate us from each other has done a good job.
I think People are less empathic for each other. Mobile phones and social media probably play a part as well
