Read this on reddit today.  https://www.reddit.com/r/Aleague/comments/1c5ba3f/statement_from_the_cove_re_tifo_processes/

Put aside what team is involved and your prejudices for a minute and have a read.

What an absolute shitshow and a joke it is just to get a tifo approved. The hoops they have to jump through and the rigamarole is fucking nuts.

Besides every other fucked thing about football in Australia this is just another example of nanny state wankery at it's best.

The APL has rejected a large-scale tifo plan that was organisationally approved by the stadium, and endorsed by MVFC on behalf of the North Terrace.
Costing upwards of $12,000, this choreography was paid for by our members, and was to be the biggest in our history thus far.
Unlike others, the North Terrace will not buckle and change our message because the APL says so. The APL has once again stifled authentic fan culture in favour of turning our game into a soulless, sterile commodity. A strategy that has seen the league we love run into the ground.
These types of displays are exactly what the league should be endorsing. This is unique to our game, and is precisely what brings fans back to the stadium.
FREEDOM FOR SUPPORTERS!'

Does anyone else find it hilarious that Aleague supporters are so invested in mimicking Balkan/Southern European style Ultra support with colourful flags and dance routines whilst the old effnik  NSL supporters would chant "We love you Hellas, we do .... Ooooooohhhhh Hellas we love you" like the English? hahahahah
